Its lightweight design (800gm – 1kg when activated) won't hinder your performance and its unisex design ensures a comfortable fit for all. The vest features a practical design with 4 crystal-filled pockets on the front and 3 across the back, extending to approximately belly button length for optimal core cooling without restricting movement around the torso.

How to Use/Activation Information:

1. Initial Soak: Submerge the vest in water for 10-15 minutes so the crystals in the pockets swell into a firm gel (pockets should be firm but not bursting).
   
   
2. Remove Excess Water: Grab the top and bottom of the vest and gently twist in opposite directions to remove excess water. Briefly rub the inside and outside of the vest with a towel to wipe away any excess gel and residue.
   
   
3. Hang to Dry: Hang the vest until the material is completely dry.
   
   
4. Freeze: Once dry, the vest can now be placed in the freezer for a minimum of 2 hours. Do not use the zip bag supplied with the product for storing in the freezer.
   
   
5. Handling After Freezing: If the vest is stiff when taken out of the freezer, it is okay to gently snap the frozen gel pockets with your fingers. If the material has frozen together during the cooling process, do not force the fabric open; simply leave it to defrost a little, and it will naturally come apart. (To prevent sticking, you can put a plastic bag inside the vest to separate surfaces during freezing.)
   
   
6. Ready to Use: Your ArcticHeat vest is now ready to wear. For optimal cooling, use directly from the freezer or an ice water slurry.
   
   
7. Re-activation: When the crystal/gel pockets start to dehydrate and become flat, begin the activation process again from step 1.

Care Instructions:

Storing:

• While the vest is in its activated (gel) state, always store it by hanging in a well-ventilated area. DO NOT STORE IT IN THE REFRIGERATOR.
  
  
• For long-term storage, allow the vest to completely dehydrate (returning it to crystal form) before storing it.
  
  
• To re-activate after long-term storage, start from step 1 of the activation process.

Washing:

• Simply hand wash the vest in warm water with mild soap for no more than 2 minutes.
  
  
• Hang to dry.

• The gel crystals are non-sensitive to skin and mucous membranes, are not absorbed by the skin, and are non-toxic.
